The specialists have conducted a trial of new technology for ROP increase in Oman.

DI engineers have taken a part in a drilling of horizontal development well on Yibal Khuff field. This technology is not a new but Near Bit Ejector Unit (NBEU) for ROP increase was used for the first time in Oman. And hope it was not a last one.

It was achieved 32% of efficiency due to the application of innovative product from INNOIL company while 12 ” drilling section with PDC bit. The 820m interval was drilled during 54 hrs (drilling time). As a comparative base it was taken the drilling results from nearest well which was drilled on the same field.
